* This is of the 3.4. I
cannot find a road test of the 2.4.
** The spineless namby-pambies who wrote the Rover 75 Owners
handbook do not give the bhp,
so I apologise to enthusiasts for
relying on Which Car.
*** Assuming that the weight remains unchanged. The V8 at 190 kg (3Ύ cwts or 418 lbs) is said
to be 60 kg (1.2 cwts (does one do
decimals of a hundredweight?) or 132 lbs) lighter than
Jaguars 2.4. I have been unable to find out the weight of
the Vauxhall engine.
